I began this blog on Shavuot, 5 Sivan 5779 — May 19, 2018. My writing was originally intended to facilitate my formal affirmation of Judaism, i.e. my conversion, in June of this year. As I’ve moved along the conversion journey, though, I’ve found that my writing is a rewarding way to keep myself accountable to ongoing Jewish learning, growth and practice. I hope it can also facilitate sharing and discussion with others.
